Dave Berry

Dave is an analytics professional with 19 years experience in the disciplines of both marketing and financial analysis. Prior to joining Marketing Direct, Dave worked for 4 years with Acxiom Corporation providing consulting services to clients on CRM and database marketing strategies based on intelligence derived from data analytics. At Acxiom, he developed substantial new business in the home improvement sector, and then the travel/entertainment market through insight derived from retail level transactional data analysis. This work included development of new product offerings centered on analytical offerings and CRM implementation.

Prior to Acxiom, Dave was employed for 14 years by Maritz Inc. where his responsibilities as Director, Marketing Analysis consisted of leading a team performing quantitative analysis for client marketing programs. A key measure of success for the “quantitative marketing” approach that this group performed was that through the process of data analysis the output delivered actionable strategies designed to improve marketing effectiveness.

Dave has an MS in Economics as well as a BS in Economics specializing in quantitative methods.
