Robert has 25 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, relationship marketing strategy, general management, information systems and direct marketing. His career started in Computer Science in 1977, where he progressed from an applications programmer to a leadership position in computer systems design and implementation for marketing technology based solutions. He then leveraged his technical and marketing expertise assisting organizations in their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) efforts across six vertical markets since 1989. He held a position as a General Manager leading a business unit in supplying CRM solutions to Fortune 100 organizations just before accepting a full-time position as an Executive-In-Residence in the Department of Marketing at De Paul University in July of 2002.

He has authored and presented certificate programs in Computer Science while an adjunct faculty from 1984 – 1991 in De Paul’s School of Computer Science. He has taught in De Paul’s Middle-East MBA program at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance and just recently took students on an International Business seminar to Japan focusing on Marketing & Technology. He is scheduled to return to Japan next Spring. He designed, wrote and taught an accelerated Marketing & Technology course for visiting European executives participating in an Executive Management Program, designed and taught a Service Marketing seminar to International business executives, recently presented his research on CRM Effectiveness findings at the Hawaii International Conference on Business, has made multiple presentations at Direct Marketing Conferences, co-authored articles on CRM and is in the process of co-authoring a textbook on CRM for an industry leading publisher. He participates as an instructor on a regular basis in De Paul’s e-Marketing Certificate Program and the Pennebaker Direct & Interactive Marketing Certificate Programs.

Robert received his MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L.Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 1994.
