As Vice President of Sales for ChoicePoint Precision Marketing, Steve Dexter has been instrumental in transforming a data focused sales force into a team of successful database marketing experts. Throughout the last 18 months, a major focus of that transition was the development of vertically focused solution selling teams, which have proven to be tremendously successful in growing revenues and increasing customer satisfaction and results.

During his 9-year career in the Data/Database Marketing industry, Steve has developed strategic relationships with some of the largest players in the marketing industry, including direct marketers, data providers, database vendors, software providers, analytic companies and credit providers. His seven years of credit-based experience began with Trans Union, where he served as National Director of Sales prior to joining ChoicePoint Precision Marketing. While at Trans Union, he built a team of data professionals, who continuously broke new ground and increased revenues in the Financial Services, Retail, Catalog and Publishing industries.

He has developed data driven marketing solutions for companies such as Microsoft, Wachovia, Ameriquest Mortgage, H&R Block, Kohl’s and Best Buy. Steve has in-depth experience in the following core marketing competencies: Data, Analytics, Database, Teleservices, E-mail, Print and Lettershop. Prior to his tenure with Trans Union, he worked for Interealty, a regional public records compiler located in Chicago.
